Professional Development (PD) Points for Swim Teacher Licence Renewal

Royal Life Saving WA requires swim teachers to complete 4 Professional Development (PD) points per year to maintain their Swim Teacher Licence. We’re pleased to confirm that attendance at the WA Aquatic Recreation Conference qualifies for PD points as follows:

One day attendance = 2 PD points

Full two-day attendance = 4 PD points

This means that attending the full conference satisfies the entire annual PD requirement for Royal Life Saving WA swim teachers.

AUSTSWIM professional development points can be attained by attending the LIWA Conference:

1 day attendance = 6 hours
2 day attendance = 12 hours
