Misty is a lecturer / researcher at the Curtin University Centre for Human Rights Education, and consults with government departments and other high profile organisations on issues of diversity, sexuality, and gender. They have authored articles in academic and mainstream publications and have presented as an invited speaker at events around Australia. Locally and nationally, Misty is active in community outreach, education, and LGBTIQA+ advocacy efforts, for which they received an Order of Australia Medal. Prior to commencing their PhD, they spent over ten years in community and organisational development leadership positions across sectors.

Whatever Laurie is involved in, he gives all of himself. He cares deeply about the people he influences and he refuses to rest until he has achieved his best. Laurie has been claimed as one of Australia’s favourite sons, and is admired by many Australians, from little children who attend his coaching clinics to International Corporate Leaders who look to him for inspiration and new ideas.
